Just A Little Walk In The Woods

with the Delta Raiders

Company D, 2nd Battalion, 501st Infantry, 101st Airborne Division (Airmobile)

Although most veterans don't consider themselves to be heroes for what they did during combat, there are many who truly are.  We were just doing our job during the war.. and really, most of what we did during battle came from training and the instinct for survival.  There were many who went above and beyond the call of duty to help their brothers during the heat of battle, but these pages aren't about those "heroes"  These pages are about those who have endured the wounds of war since coming home with silent pride and determination to live a normal life.  Please visit these pages and always remember our  "Forgotten Heroes"                                                                   Blackie
